Structures symptoms against the Canadian Consensus Criteria and gives initial orientation for ME/CFS suspicion.
Choose the right self-check when symptoms are hard to classify. The questionnaires structure symptoms and burden, but do not replace medical diagnosis.

Measures functional capacity with the validated FUNCAP-27 questionnaire on a 0–6 scale without converting it into a diagnostic severity category.
Checks whether pain distribution and symptom severity match a fibromyalgia-leaning pattern.
This page and the questionnaires support orientation and symptom documentation. They do not replace medical diagnosis, emergency care, or treatment decisions. Read methodology and limits →
They rest on published, professionally recognised foundations — but of different kinds: the Canadian Consensus Criteria and the ACR-2016 criteria are diagnostic and classification criteria, the FUNCAP-27 is a validated functional-capacity questionnaire. The self-test built on them is an orientation aid and not itself a validated diagnostic instrument.
They stay in your browser. Questions and scoring run locally on your device and the result is stored encrypted in session storage. Your answers are never transmitted to us and are not linked to any account. Only if you voluntarily leave your email address at the end do we store that — without your answers. Use of the page itself is measured statistically if you consent in the cookie banner.
Yes. You can export your result as a PDF and share it with your physician. It makes preparing for complex symptom conversations much easier.
The ME/CFS symptom check takes 5–10 minutes, the fibromyalgia check about 5 minutes. FUNCAP-27 for functional-capacity assessment is longer, taking 15–20 minutes.
A noticeable result shows that your symptom pattern matches features of the examined condition. It does not replace a diagnosis – please seek medical advice and use it as a conversation starter.

A score or symptom pattern is most useful when it is connected to the underlying clinical context, exertion response and the limits of the instrument.
Understand symptoms, PEM, diagnosis and the wider illness pattern before interpreting a self-check.
Why symptom worsening after exertion matters when fatigue and reduced capacity are being assessed.
Connect questionnaire results with careful day-to-day exertion management and symptom tracking.
